  19. The cybergraphics system was designed to define an independant graphics
  20. standard for graphics boards. We also wanted to continue our development
  21. of workbench emulations. We could include all our knowledge of about 3 years
  22. of gfx board software development (wb-emulation of visiona, domino, picasso
  23. and now the cybervision64).
  24. cybergraphics is based on hardware dependant monitor drivers and hardware
  25. independant libraries. This has some advantages: Bug fixes in the workbench
  26. emulation or speed optimizations is of benefit for ALL gfx boards that are
  27. supported by the cybergraphics system. There is no third like XpERT or
  28. Village-Tronic inbetween developers and users. That guarantees bug fixes
  29. and continued development of the software in the future.
  30. cybergraphics allows using of 15/16/24 screens independant of the used
  31. color model. You are able to use the cybergraphics.library functions to
  32. modify this screens. Using graphics.library functions is currently not
  33. possible but this may change in one of the next releases.
  34. Currently there are versions for Domino, PicassoII, GVP Spectrum, Piccolo Z2/3
  35. ,RetinaZ3 and PiccoloSD64

  39.       "Quick Update (New Libs & Drivers only)" option in the installer.

  42.       Currently when "Quick Update (New Libs & Drivers only)" mode is selected,
  43.       it will not update the new 'CVMode 1.3' and the new RetinaZ3 Monitor driver
  44.       1.3. If you wish you can move these by hand.
